Created in 1965 under the associations' regime, the French Radiation Protection Society (Société Française de Radioprotection, SFRP) brings together about 1300 members, professionals of the Radioprotection : engineers, researchers, technicians, doctors, inspectors, teachers, students, and retired ... .working or having an interest for the different sectors concerned by the ionizing and non-ionizing radiation.

The association aims to share experience and practices between professionals, promote the exchange of information between specialists and non-specialists, and promote the culture of Radiation Protection.
