The Brazilian Radiological Protection Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Proteção Radiológica, SBPR) is a non-profit technical and scientific entity (civil association) affiliated with the International Radiation Protection Association and the Latin American and Caribbean Radiation Protection Federation . It was founded in an Assembly held in the Auditorium of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences on December 9, 1986.
